Materials & Print Quality

What each gift is made of, the sizes available, and how to look after it.

Everything is made to order in the United States, so nothing sits in a warehouse fading before it reaches you.

Wall Art

  • Framed Print — MDF frame with satin 210 gsm paper, printed with archival pigment-based inks. Ships ready to hang with mounted sawtooth hardware, foam-wrapped and individually boxed.
  • Canvas Wall Art — 1.25″ gallery wrap with black, white, or image-wrapped edges, ready to hang. Sizes from 5×7 up to 24×30 inches and larger.
  • Acrylic Print and Art Print — 8×10 inch, on crystal-clear acrylic or premium lustre photo paper.
  • Tabletop Canvas — a 5×7 wrapped canvas that stands on a desk or shelf.

Greeting Cards

Folded cards on heavyweight silk cardstock, with envelopes included. 5×7 inch is the standard, and 3.5×5 and 5×5 are also available. Cards ship on a stayflat board, wrapped and boxed.

Mugs & Drinkware

Ceramic mugs come in 11 oz and 15 oz, with a full wrap-around print and left- or right-handed layouts. Accent mugs add a coloured handle and interior; the Viking Tumbler is a 20 oz insulated tumbler.

Looking After It

  • Mugs — microwave and dishwasher safe
  • Canvas — the UV coating is scratch-resistant; wipe clean with a damp cloth

Will It Print Sharp?

The portrait is rendered at high resolution, so the limiting factor is almost always the photo you started from. A sharp, well-lit source photo prints beautifully at any size. See Choosing a Photo for what to look for.

Frequently Asked Questions

How big can I print?
Canvas wall art runs from 5x7 up to 24x30 inches and beyond. If you're torn, print bigger — a portrait that works on a card usually looks better still as a canvas.
Are the prints archival?
Framed prints use archival, pigment-based inks on satin 210 gsm paper, and canvas has a scratch-resistant UV coating.
